Dragon battle

here it is, finally, I’ve had a bit of a rough time these last week or so,, and my art took a very hard knock. But now I’m back on track, this painting should have been done days ago. Anyway my first priority is art now. I got all other things out of my way.
A bit about the painting itself. I Tried a different approach, normally my paintings are super detailed and it tends to have a comicy look and I’ve recently been very inspired by the way kekai kotaki paints and. Yea, what a great artist, absolutely brilliant. to me he’s one of the best, he has this way of only painting with rough strokes and rather focusses on mood atmosphere and composition colour and values, than detail and that’s eye candy, so satisfying. So that’s where my focus will be from now on ,,,doing less detailed work , and rather focus on the other stuff, if you look at my previous work. You’ll see a big change. I am satisfied, for the moment, I believe this picture could be way better but, I’d rather paint more pictures. I don’t want to spend too much time on individual artworks.
