The original as is, is beyond words. Its a beauty to look at - the gleam of the sword, the colossal magnanimity bursting from the two, the aura of the dragon from afar perched so melodiously on the overcast sky, the silence of the woods unchecked as the flapping of leaves and flags and cloaks alike shatters the sound of silence... It is as if I am watching a moment come to life.
I wouldn't mind using this as a canvas - the other one is too stereotypical with its dragon shining away against the man's shield. Here, its multipotency makes it far too ambitious to be constricted, and gives so much ambiance, that I am lost in thought while watching this masterpiece.
